Abstract

Based on variational translation theory, this study conducts an in-depth analysis of Lin Shu’s Chinese translations, aiming to elucidate the strategies employed by the translator—including the application and effects of methods such as adding, deleting, edited translation, and integrating—to provide valuable insights and references for the in-depth and substantial development of international dissemination of Chinese literary works.
